Tom Dixon – Press Medium Vase

Press vases are designed to catch and refract light, casting eye-catching shadows. The heavyweight grooved vase is made of chunky coils of pure glass. Bold in silhouette and simple in function, it is manufactured by dropping big globs of molten glass and pressed in iron moulds.
